Upgrading Builder-Grade Counters
Homes in newer communities often came with standard counters chosen from a short builder list. Replacing them is a common update, and it usually doesn’t require new cabinets. A few decisions shape the result:

Backsplash height
Running the stone up the wall, partway or to the ceiling behind the range, changes the look of the room.

Seating overhangs may need support brackets, which we’ll plan at templating.

A clean eased edge reads modern; thicker or shaped edges feel more traditional.

Have the models chosen before templating so the cutouts are exact.
Planning
Community and Seasonal Planning
Many communities have rules on work hours, contractor access and parking, and some homeowners are here only part of the year. Tell us about gate access, association requirements and when you’ll be in town, and we’ll plan the template visit and installation around them.

Usually, yes, as long as the cabinets are sound, level and secured. Ask about removing your existing tops when you request an estimate.
